Hip

I offer the evaluation and possible therapy all around the pelvis, acetabulum, and hip joint. This can be operated with preservation of the hip (impingement syndrome) or otherwise thru the implantation of a prosthesis for hip arthritis.

The latter is performed through a minimally invasive approach whenever possible. This leads to early patient mobility.

Osteoporotic fractures of the pelvis have become much more common in the last few years. Along with a good osteoporosis treatment by the rheumatologist, these fractures can also be fixed through very small incisions.
